Our vegetables are grown using minimum or no-till practices to limit soil disturbance and machinery and fuel usage. We rely on mostly hand tools and intensive production in a smaller densely packed area rather than using tractors and wide rows and plowing and tilling up large blocks of land. We are not certified organic due to the cost of acquiring this label but still follow organic practices. We only use natural fertilizers like fish fertilizer, chicken manure, etc. and use lots of good compost. We do not use pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides, but instead we use Neem oil and other natural remedies. We aim to grow a diverse mix of veggies to be ready for as much of the year as we can.
